Let the games begin!

Runner @ Starting Pos So, I finally decided to start editing this website of mine. It’s not that I didn’t have the time, more like I didn’t have the will. However, now that I graduated I figured a well maintained website is a good addition to my CV so, here I am.

Now, since I have nothing in particular to talk about as it is my first, and basically just a test post, I will just give a brief overview of what I intend to put here. This way if I don’t deliver I’ll get my first comments from people complaining that I have no clue what I’m doing. And since a first comment is always celebrated it’s a win-win situation for me really.

Originally, I imagined this site as nothing more than a mere blog. However, as time passed by, my thoughts changed with it. How, apart from your average blog, I will also adapt this site to serve as my online portfolio. I figure you can’t go wrong with allowing yourself to be noticed online as well as offline. Plus, this way I can point to my virtual CV wherever/whenever I am.

Moreover, I will try to do here what I can’t in my paper based CV counterpart. I will put actual projects I’m involved in or have done in the past. What I mean by this is that I will put source code of some things that I’ve done so that people interested in what I have to offer can see it for themselves.

I’ll probably come up with more stuff to do here as time goes by, so I’ll close this post for now and continue brainstorming. If anyone has experience with this sort of websites please let me know as I’ll need all the help I can get to make this thing shine. Anyway, as the title says, let the games begin!
